Every part and every process of the QUIKSLING system has been tested under the auspices of Lloyds, who have fully Type Approved the product as a man overboard resuce system. Laboratories and Rigs from Aberdeen to Lowestoft have been used to test for load, strain, resistance, repeatability, longevity and even instruction clarity. ‘Simple’ things like rope selection, for example, turns out to be a scientific exercise to ensure the final product has the correct strength, stretch, buoyancy, flexibility and fire retardancy characteristics to comply with legislation and cover the multitude of situations QUIKSLING could be deployed in.
